Greens Keeper/Equipment Operator Position Summary: Under general direction from the Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Crew Foreman, the Equipment operator safely utilizes a variety of tools, machinery and equipment to perform maintenance duties around the golf course and grounds. Responsibilities also include cleaning equipment after each use and performing minor repairs and/or routine maintenance on the equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Safely operate equipment and accessories as trained and assigned including, but not limited to, greens mowers, rotary mowers, flymos, gang mowers, tri-plex mowers, vertical mowers, line trimmers, edgers, utility vehicles, back-pack blowers, portables pumps, aerifiers, spikers, mechanical top dressers, sed cutters, mechanical bunker rakes, tractors, sweepers, blades, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, chain saws, and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Properly care for assigned equipment by inspecting machinery before and after each use, cleaning machinery after each use, making necessary minor adjustments to equipment and reporting machinery/equipment problems to the mechanic.
- Maintain maintenance and flid use logs (gas and oil) on assigned equipment.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks on the golf course and grounds as well as the maintenance facility and clubhouse as assigned and directed. Duties may include, but not limited to, loading and unloading materials, trimming trees, removing cuttings, laying sod, hand raking bunkers, drainage installation and repair, and repairing ball marks and filling divots.
- Perform golf course service and set up work as directed.

Property Accountant: The crown jewel of the club is the 18-hole championship golf course, renovated in 2004. The course is immaculately maintained with greens that are fast and true. Well-groomed bunkers and attractive landscaping reflect the conscientiousness of the caretakers. The golf course is challenging and presents plenty of temptations to the more polished golfer. A first class 9-hole par 3 course presents some of the most spectacular vistas in the entire Tidewater area. Other diversions at the club include a driving range, putting and chipping greens, swimming pool (seasonal), croquet court, and a complete tennis center with both indoor and outdoor courts. Both the golfing and tennis centers are staffed with certified professionals and include well stocked pro shops. The Cedar Point clubhouse offers a casual dining room and private dining room; both with panoramic views of the water. Additionally, the facility contains private meeting rooms, an art gallery, locker rooms, and the golfing center. An outdoor terrace is a nice area to relax and mingle with friends after any activity. Weekly events keep the clubhouse alive with members and their guests. Position Summary: Directs the financial activities of the club. Develops policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes and related activities and records; develops, establishes and administers procedures and systems pertaining to financial matters; prepares financial statements, forecasts and analyses for all administrative and managerial functions. Maintains all accounting records and is responsible for development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information. Evaluates operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operational policies, trends and increased profit possibilities. - Manage the petty cash and operating cash fund.
- Maintain, monitor, and distribute membership statements monthly. Contact members about past due balances and work with them on prompt payment if necessary.
- Prepare and supervise the preparation of applicable federal, state and local tax returns.
- Ensure that all insurance policies, business licenses, liquor licenses, certificates of operation, and appropriate records are current and properly maintained.

Our lifeguards will explain safety rules to patrons, warn them about unsafe situations, and enforce policies on showers and proper attire. Lifeguards play an instrumental role in maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms and restrooms. Our lifeguards maintain pool equipment, monitor and record pool chemistry readings.
